Kip started registering ATA targets in 1988 amassed fifty one thousand five hundred singles, forty one thousand six hundred and fifty handicap and thirty four thousand doubles during his thirty seven year shooting career. He attended the WV State Shoot, the WV Hall of Fame shoot, the Ohio State shoot and VA state shoots, as well as, supporting local trap clubs in WV and PA. Kip&#8217;s obituary follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p class=\"MsoNormal\">Kip Lawrence Captor, 65, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away at his home Tuesday Feb. 4, 2025.\u00a0Kip was born Feb. 28, 1959, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Robert L. and Mary Agnes (Ferrari) Captor.\u00a0He recently retired from Industrial Resources in Fairmont, WV, on Dec. 31, 2024, where he was Manager of Purchasing.\u00a0Kip was a member of the Smithfield Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of Fairmont State University, with a BS in Civil and Industrial Engineering Technology and member of TKE Fraternity, serving as Chapter President and 10 years as Alumni President.\u00a0His other memberships included: WV Hunter Education Hall of Fame, founding member of Marion County WV Hunter Education, teaching since July<br>1990, lead instructor since March of 1991, logging over 3500 hours of instruction, NWTF since 1990, Ruffed Grouse Society, life-member Amateur Trapshooting Assoc., NRA benefactor member, WV Sportsman and Firearm Assoc, serving as both Secretary and President, Marshall County Hunting and Fishing Club and the Jefferson County Ohio Sportsman Assoc.\u00a0Kip\u2019s passion was hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and helping and teaching all of those involved.\u00a0Kip is survived by his brother, Nick Captor and companion Tracy of Washington, PA, aunt, Gilda Ferrari of Columbus, OH, and several wonderful cousins.\u00a0Kip\u2019s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of his Life is being planned and will be announced.\u00a0Arrangements for Kip are in the care of J.E.
