Kinzy C. Smith 1935-2026 passed away March 31, 2026, he was 91.
Kinzy started registering ATA targets in 1965.
In 2019 Delma, Kinzy’s wife sent me information on Kinzy’s trapshooting accomplishments I’ve added it below:

In 1967 he won the Mid-American Championship at Middletown, OH and tied for Runner up in the 1967 Grand American Handicap Championship with a 99×100 from the 22 yard line ultimately placing 4th after the ensuing shoot off.

In 1968 he won the WV State Doubles Championship (92), WV All Around Championship (387×400), Open High Overall (627×650) and the 22-23 yard handicap Prize (97).
In 1972 he tied for the WV Singles Championship losing to Frank Hall in the shoot off.
In 1976 Kinzy won the WV Handicap Championship in 1976 with a 94 from the 25.5 yard line.
Kinzy made it to 27 yard line in June 1977

Over his career Kinzy amassed 99450 singles, 106425 handicap and 41950 doubles.
Kinzy was a Charter member of The Gun Club in Point Pleasant.
